Teucrium fruticans or the Shrubby Germander is a bushy shrub that goes very well in perennial gardens, cottage gardens and coastal gardens. It has a wide, sprawling habit with woolly, whitish stems and aromatic, grey/green leaves. light blue two-lipped flowers are borne in spring on terminal spikes in late spring and summer. Absolutely brilliant to clip and shape. Super hardy for the coast or really sandy soils. Will also grow well in other soils.
