Tamarix ramosissima is a hardy, deciduous shrub or small tree with long, slender branches and small, greyish foliage.

In springtime it produces a very attractive display of long racemes of feathery pink flowers all along its branches. So much so, that you can’t see anything but pink.

Good in coastal locations and as a windbreak, screen or hedge.

They can withstand hot periods.
