Also known as the Native Hibiscus, Alyogyne West Coast Gem (Alyogyne huegellii) is a fast growing shrub that produces beautiful silky dark blue flowers for most of the year, with the main flush coming on from Spring through till Autumn.

Alyogyne can be an open sprawling shrub if left to grow naturally, but can be pruned whilst young to encourage a dense shape when mature. Prefers a full sun to part shade position. Frost and drought hardy once established. Can be grown in pots with native potting mix. Great for coastal postitions.
