Master the Art of Risotto & Arancini: Class starts at 10am – 2pm $90 per person
Once you get a good Risotto into your repertoire, you will never look back. Like all good peasant dishes, there’s a way to get the most delicious dish. It’s from using seasonal ingredients of the highest quality and treating them right.
In this class we make 3 Risotto dishes and Arancini Balls for an entrée.
Served with Crumbled Fetta, Mint & Roasted Beetroot
Served with Burnished Mushroom, Lemon Thyme, Parmesan & Balsamic Glaze.
Grilled Pear & Blue Cheese Risotto.
Served with Grilled Pear, deglazed with White Wine Vinegar, Crumbled Creamy Blue Cheese, Spiced Walnuts and Pomegranate Drizzle.
Served with Roasted Capsicum & Chilli Jam
About The Post & Rail:
The Post and Rail is a Cooking & Gardening School located at 7 Bill James Court Compton, on a 5 picturesque acre property. In a normal home kitchen designed to provide a relaxed and sociable, learning experience. Please allow an extra 10 mins travel time from the centre of Mount Gambier.
We pride ourselves on our professionalism, warmth, spirit of fun and love of cooking, especially the eating of delicious food with friends old and new after each class.
Every guest in our kitchen receives a warm welcome, Devonshire Scones just out of the oven, Tea or proper Coffee and their own apron to wear for the duration of the class, equipment, and ingredients to create the dishes learnt in class.
